Crystal Allies – Companions, Helpers and Guides in Good Times and Bad.

Your Crystal Allies. An ally is someone on your side, an associate providing cooperation or assistance when needed. Your crystal allies will share their energies and act in ways to uplift and protect you. From the earliest times, people have drawn upon the powerful forces made available through the natural elements. We have allied ourselves with and called for help from angels. We take strength and enhance ourselves with botanicals and essential oils. Many of us employ talismans and good luck charms to keep us safe. So, crystals, gemstones, and minerals are willing to lend us their characteristics and also come to our aid.

We have used crystals as special allies for aeons. Furthermore, crystals, gemstones, and minerals have been associated with special powers throughout this time. When you wear, hold, or carry a crystal that is your ally, or place it in your home, office, or workplace, you will feel stronger, more vital, and alive. Interestingly, if you select and hold or wear one that is not your ally, you will probably not feel anything at all. This, of course, makes selecting our allies a little easier.

Every stone has a story just waiting to be heard. By training yourself to listen to their stories, you will find a wealth of information and guidance made available to you.

Here is a limited list of some crystals and stones and their symbolism. Each one is linked to further information that may be of interest. This list is by no means comprehensive, instead, it lists stones that are relatively easy to obtain and generally inexpensive. Those marked * are usually part of a larger group, however, the key functions apply across the group. The individual stones will also have their own purposes.

If you can’t find what you are looking for in the list above, there are many more crystal allies available. For example, one of my favourite allies is Moldavite, and it is also one of the stones in my medicine pouch. Today, Moldavite is very expensive and difficult to obtain, and you have to be very wary of fakes.

Strategies for Finding Your Crystal Allies.

There are several ways to find your allies. You can choose your ally for the characteristics you want to add to your life by referring to the list above. Pay attention to your dreams, as often your ally will be revealed through this medium. You could also go on a meditative visualisation journey where you could visualise yourself standing in a circle of stones and calling your ally to you. Another way is to be aware of circumstances where a particular ally is being mentioned or brought to your attention. You could sit quietly and intend that your crystal ally reveal itself. If you use a pendulum, you could use this to help divine your allies. Pay attention to strong feelings. This is how I discovered my Moldavite – I just kept having a feeling I should get one, so I did.

Once you have discovered your crystal allies, take the time to listen to their advice. Meditate with them and imagine that they are each giving you valuable advice, guidance, and love. As you learn to work with and trust your crystal allies, you will discover a treasure trove of insight made available to you.
