What People Want and Eight Crystals to Help Get Them.

 

What people want is best summed up by the late Zig Ziglar, America’s “Master of Motivation”. Ziglar realized early in his career that if you’re going to talk about motivation, it’s vital to know what’s important in the first place. Zig mulled it over in excruciating detail and finally identified eight things that all people want, no matter who they are. They are shared in his books “Over The Top” and also “Success for Dummies”.

Rereading Over The Top provided the inspiration for this article. I want to share the eight things here with you as well as suggest a corresponding crystal; one that I believe would be a great energy match, and also a talisman for success in its matching quality. Plus, we will hear from Zig with a quote of his on each of these essential traits.

So, after many years of study and working with thousands of people, Zig confirmed that what people want is to be, or to have these eight things:

Amazonite is frequently associated with hope. It is recognized for its encouraging abilities which increase self-esteem and confidence and also diminish any negative thoughts and feelings. Furthermore, it helps clear your mind and focus your attention on achieving your goals and ambitions. It embodies hope, through calmness, clear thinking, and creativity as well as allowing for new beginnings and growth.

Money can’t buy them!

You will notice that we can’t just buy any of these things, rather we have to work at having them as a part of our life.

Now, even though we all have access to these eight things everyone wants, it is also interesting to note; There are “rich” people who believe they don’t have any or all of these things. Moreover, there are “poor” people who believe they have all of these things in abundance.

Better yet, did you know you have a choice? Did you know you can make every one of these qualities better in your life today?  So, what are you waiting for?

Zig had an overarching philosophy for life and it was “You can have anything in life you want if you will just help enough other people get what they want.”

What You Can Do About It.

Serve others.

Herein lies the key; Every day we can find ways to better serve and help others, and the more we do the better we’ll find that life serves us. Each of these key wants will become more dominant in our lives. We interact with so many different individuals and groups each day and while we may not be able to give everyone all they want we can at least do something for someone.

Take action.

If on any given day you find one or more areas that need your attention or improving in some way, then take some positive action to improve the situation. For example, say you’re not as happy as you would like to be, then smile. It usually makes people happier. Or, in order to feel more prosperous maybe you could make a small donation to something you care about.

Use crystal power.

For each of the desired wants in our lives, I have chosen a crystal that can provide an energetic or vibrational match. If you feel the need for assistance in one of the given areas, you can simply bring the crystal into your domain. The more you interact with it, the more you will experience its influence. Naturally, there is no reason not to use them all at once.

Some people put them in a small bag or pouch and carry them with them. Individually or collectively, they can be kept in your pocket. You can play with or handle them throughout the day to feel their influence. You can sleep with them under your pillow at night. Or display them at your workplace. The main thing is that as you engage with them, they act as a catalyst to remind you of what’s important and what you want for your life.

Other choices.

The crystal chosen as correspondence for each of the characteristics above is my first choice. It was chosen for the reasons outlined in the description. There are others that will fit the bill also, so if a particular crystal seems more suitable for you, then go for it.
