Remember how great it felt when from out of the blue someone let you know that you are appreciated. Perhaps it was just for being you – being who you are. Or it may have been because of something you did. The reason isn’t the issue in this story, as important as it may be; the centre point is the expression of gratitude. You probably walked around on cloud nine for the rest of the day. You felt lifted and elevated, appreciative of the fact that someone took the time to show they cared enough to say thank you.
Better still, remember the feeling; the way you felt when you followed a prompting and made the effort to send out your own heartfelt expressions of appreciation and gratitude and especially when it was unexpected. These two sides of the same action work synergistically and harmoniously to making the world a better place for all of us to reside. They also provide the chance to lift ourselves and others to another level of being.
