Hello
and welcome. – A lot of you buy from us just because you like and use or collect
the products we sell. From our end we would like to believe that you also do so
because you enjoy the convenience of buying online, quality products, our value
for money pricing, along with our excellent service including prompt dispatch of
your orders and great care in their packaging. And of course we take enormous
pleasure in including a gift from us. A few times lately this was accidentally
left out by our relief packer, who sends his apologies.
Quite a
few of you buy from us because you are also involved in healing and energy work,
either on yourself, family and friends or professionally with clients. Whether
amateur or professional, many of you have also contacted us for advice and
information about energy healing generally and of course about crystals
specifically. It’s amazing the number of questions that come up, but more
amazing is their variety – from simple and easy to handle to complex and
stretching.
Some of
you deal directly with us at on Sundays at Fernvale markets where we get the
chance to talk with you and answer your questions first hand. And of course some
of you are clients and students of our healing and teaching centre ‘Akasha Keep’
in Lowood Qld.
In
whatever way we have come to know you, we would like you to know that we
appreciate your patronage and enjoy immense pleasure from our interaction with
you.
So that
we can extend our service further we are currently launching a new web-site
called
‘Ask Ron and Sue.’ While
our accent with MyCrystalAura is to sell product along with offering
information, the purpose for AskRonandSue.com.au will be providing information
by answering your questions with a little bit of product sell.

to answer them for you. It is also our intention to bring in other experts and
practitioners from time to time to answer your questions as

As we
will mainly be using video format to answer your questions we will be able to
give a visual response, so you can see first hand how to go about things
&/or what it looks like.

little while for the content to grow. But this is where we could really use your

along and be a part of the gathering to welcome and prepare for the coming
season. Be welcomed into and bask in the magical energies of our healing circle
and sit and reflect around its central fire. Join in the chanting if you want to
and then experience meditation under the stars. Before the night ends you will
have the chance to be bathed in the healing and invigorating sound waves
delivered from native healing drums. After the formalities you will be able to
have a cuppa and socialize before heading home. Booking required. Payment by
donation of $10 and bring a plate and chair. We are just 1 hour from the centre
of Brisbane.

Keep an
eye out for mini salt lamps that can be powered from the USB port on your
computer. These little lamps can be beneficial in reducing EMF’s from your
computer screen and for providing an environment of negative ions around you and
your computer. These are due in shortly and will soon be added to our site. We
will only have a limited number at first, so if you want to be one of the first

Stone of the month:
Tiger
Eye, also called Tiger’s Eye is a chatoyant (a luminescent band
like that of a cat's eye) gemstone that is usually a metamorphic rock that has
rich yellow and golden brown stripes, with a silky lustre when polished. It is a
member of the Quartz family that contains oriented fibres of crocidolite (blue
asbestos) that have been replaced by silica. Tiger Eye with its bands resembles
an eye of a tiger, so it has received its name due to this
similarity.
Roman
soldiers it is said wore Tiger Eye for protection in battle and it has been
traditionally carried as a protective talisman against ill-wishing and curses.
It was also considered to be all seeing due to its appearance. Tiger Eye is the
anniversary gemstone for the 9th year of marriage.
The qualities of patience and timing relate to our ability to
create what we want for our lives. The colour gold represents the ability to
manifest; while the dark brown corresponds to the energies of the earth.
Therefore, Tiger's Eye can help us to translate our ideas into physical reality
and accomplishing our goals. It provides recognition of inner resources and
promotes clarity of intention.
It has been used to
stimulate wealth and abundance, and to enhance the stability required to
maintain and keep it.
This stone
expressly helps us to have more confidence in our ability to realize our dreams
by assisting us in recognizing and using our inner resources for their

Tiger Eye is a stone for the mind and is used to focus the mind. It
will cause the mind to have more direction of thought while experiencing a

needs of others. It differentiates between wishful thinking about what you want
and what you really need.
When placed upon the third eye Tiger Eye enhances psychic
abilities, especially in earthy people, and balances the lower chakras,
stimulating the rise of Kundalini energy. Placed on the navel, it brings
outstanding results for those who are spaced out or uncommitted. – Grounds and
facilitates manifestation of the will. It will anchor change into the physical
body.
Tiger Eye balances yin and yang energies, it alleviates depression

conflicts, especially those brought about by pride and willfulness.
Tigers Eye is particularly useful for healing mental dis-ease and

equally the faults that you need to overcome. It is supportive of an addictive
personality in making changes.
Tiger
Eye treats the eyes and assists with night vision. It heals the throat and
reproductive system and dissolves constrictions. Useful for repairing broken
bones, digestion and stomach problems; where it alleviates
pain.
A novel
use for a pendulum
As we all should know by now, this month
we will be required to cast our vote in the Federal election. For my part as a
seasoned voter and a senior member of the community, I believe I have done my
due vigilance and carefully weighed the opposing arguments, studied the
policies, interviewed (more like spoken to) some of the candidates for my
electorate and considered for my part who will be the worthy recipient of my
vote.
Well,
the other day a young fellow, new to voting approached me and asked for my
opinion on who he should vote for. Or more specifically why should he bother.
I was
curious as to why he was asking me and so I asked him about this. His reply was
that he had asked his dad who just said “vote for the xxx party, we belong to
the xxx party.” But this young fellow wasn’t that sure that he just
automatically belonged to the xxx party. Another person he had also asked just
responded with vote yyy, they’re the best. In both cases no further explanation
was forthcoming.
None of
this was really helping this young man, so I did my best to try to explain our
system of government and how we play our role in its selection – how we need to
make the effort to find a person or party that best matches our values and that
if we don’t do this then we can’t complain about who or what we end up with. Of
course keeping in mind that more of us may want the different choice and we
might end up with it anyway, what we call
democracy.
Well my
answer seemed to be a little bit more than he really wanted to get involved with
at this stage, plus he was uncertain as to whether he the had the maturity to
make the right decision. But I really didn’t want him to be just another of
those who just turn up at a polling booth and scratch some numbers with no
thought to it at all.
It’s
then I got a creative idea, I knew he owned a pendulum and that he used it
regularly and had found it to be a trusted system to get to the matter of
things. Why not use it to discern his vote. This way he could access his core
values and subliminally arrive at the right choices for him and play his role in
the election.
Now
having written out the names of the available candidates and their parties he
dowsed for his choice. “Is this the one I should vote for” and then as a double
check he asked “Is this the one whose values best align with mine.”
Not
surprisingly, he ended up with a positive response over the same name on both
occasions. You could say his vote is decided; now all he has to do is travel to
his polling booth on Election Day and cast it for real. Some may argue this is
not the best way to choose your candidate and make your vote, but I would say it
is better than just blindly following someone else’s choice, or not having any
clue at all.

Techniques
If your
home or office is a high stress area where tempers flare easily, try placing
Tiger Eye stones around the place to sooth the
tensions.
If you
drive a lot at night, carry a Tiger Eye as it helps to improve night
vision.
Tigers
Eye is great stone to hold while meditating as it helps you calm your mind and
emotions so you can more easily enter the meditative state.
When
you are feeling stressed, or out of sorts, carrying or wearing a Tigers Eye will
correct the problems that leave you feeling overwhelmed, drained, confused or
unfocused.
Remember to clean your crystals regularly. They appreciate a good
dusting and are able to shine all the more because of it. The harder stones
appreciate a good bath or shower as well. All of them are grateful for an
energetic cleansing provided by smudging or smoking the room they are in. This is especially important for healers
