be a busy time of buying and selling, some of this for pleasure and some to
improve your tax position. This is the time to sell off poor performing
investments or for buying up big for tax deductions, or taking advantage of end
of year sales. Many Businesses don’t look forward to the stock take as it
entails lots of counting and lots of time.

Stone of the month.
For all those born in the month of June, your Birthstone is Moonstone.
Moonstone is Feldspar, which is common in the earth’s crust.
Moonstone is an opalescent variety of orthoclase and albite, with a blue or
white sheen known as adularescence.
Known as a soul stone, it is considered to be excellent for
expressing and attracting love and kindness. It is also said to bring happiness
into its environment.
It was once called the ‘traveler’s stone’ providing protection
against the perils of travel. Moonstone is also a talisman of good fortune and
is beneficial to those involved in agriculture.
Moonstone is a stone of new beginnings and as its name suggests it
is strongly connected to the moon and also to intuition. It reminds us that
everything is part of the cycle of change, just as the moon waxes and wanes and
encourages us to pay attention to the cycles of our lives.
Moonstone helps to cool and soothe the emotions and calm
over-reactions to emotional and personal situations. It encourages intuitiveness
and perception. Moonstone enhances the feminine nature and balances male-female
energies. It also soothes instability and stress.
Has a powerful effect on the female reproductive cycle and
alleviates menstrual tension. Linked to the pineal gland it balances the
hormonal system and stabilizes fluid imbalances. Handy in cases of shock and can
be used to calm hyperactive children.
Moonstone assists the digestive, elimination and reproductive
systems; it enhances the assimilation of nutrients and assists in the
elimination of toxins and fluid retention. It alleviates degenerative conditions
of skin, hair, eyes and fleshy organs like the liver and pancreas. It is
excellent for PMS, conception, pregnancy and childbirth. Useful in the treatment
of circulatory disorders, water related imbalances like swelling and insect
stings and bites.
Crystal
Tips and Techniques.
Some
easy ways to enjoy the healing benefits of crystals
is by carrying or wearing them. As obvious as this may seem, many people ask
what they are meant to do with them. You could simply carry them in your pocket,
or handbag. You can stick them on the spot where they are needed with surgical
tape. Many women tuck them in their bra, or you can carry them in a small bag or
pouch suspended from your neck, similar to wearing a necklace or a medicine
pouch.
An effective method is to place the chosen stone into a wire cage
or binding and add it to a chain or similar and wear it as a necklace, or clip
it to a bracelet. Of course jewellery made with the selected crystal is a
valuable way to enjoy its properties. An inexpensive version of this is a chip
bead bracelet.
Placing crystals into your environment, e.g. at your desk, is an
easy way to benefit, though not as efficient as having them closer
by.
Making
a crystal elixir is also very effective, (see our article on ‘Making Crystal
Elixers')
not only can you drink it, but you can apply it topically as well. This elixir
or the actual stones can be added to your bath water to great effect. (Not all
crystals are suitable or this, so check it out first).
Natural Therapies to the Rescue.

The
other day I injured my back, and I wanted instant relief. Sadly this was not
available, but several natural therapies were employed to achieve a result.
Among these was Crystal healing and the stones utilized to great effect
were: Hematite, Carnelian and
an Azurite/malachite
tumble
stones. These stones worked in
conjunction with the other therapies to relieve the pain and relax the spasms
occurring in the muscles of my lower
back.
Ideally the best stones to have used would have been Cathedral Quartz and pale green
Serpentine also known as Infinite
Stone. Both these crystals are particularly good for pain relief and
excellent for relief of muscular aches and pains. Sadly these were not available
as they have not been replaced these since we were
burgled.
Other useful stones or crystals to use
are:
For
backache or pain: Malachite,
Magnetite
or Loadstone, Amber,
Iolite,
Sapphire
and Blue
Agate.
For pain
relief:
Amethyst,
Aragonite,
Fluorite,
Lapis
Lazuli, Larimar,
Quartz,
Smokey
Quartz and Tourmaline.
For muscles
cramps and spasms:
Apache
Tear, Amazonite
and Chrysocolla.
The Difference™ -
Opening Humanity’s Heart
We are
both collaborators to The Difference™ as it allows us the opportunity to reach
